The short message peer-to-peer protocol (SMPP) is a telecommunications industry protocol for exchanging SMS messages between SMS peer entities such as short message service centers. It is often used to allow third parties (e.g. value-added service providers like news organizations) to submit messages, often in bulk.
SMPP can be used in three different modes.
Transmitter : Can only send messages (Can’t receive messages).
Receiver : Can only receive messages (Can’t send messages).
Trans / Recv : Can both send and receive messages simultaneously.
Our SMPP solution provides all these modes and enables you to seamlessly integrate your messaging application with any third party application working over SMPP. It’s a cheap, easy, convenient and most widely used way of integration of SMS applications.
