Modules & Features

Prepaid/Postpaid billing

Both prepaid and postpaid billing schemes are supported. Postpaid users and prepaid users get disconnected and locked when ever their current balance becomes less than the credit limi. Usually prepaid users have zero credit limit.

Invoice System

Complete invoice system is provided; invoices can be generated manually also and can be sent to users through email. Also users can see their old and pending invoices online.


Corporate Billing

Parent and child account can be created (multiple login names against one account number).


Support for hourly packages

Rates can be made flexible for a day and night hours, also rate can differ between weekdays. There is no limitation on the number of hourly packages.


Support for traffic based billing

Traffic based billing is provided. It is calculated against the number of bytes-in and bytes-out. Also this option works great incase of email only accounts (but radius software should be capable of allowing email only accounts).


Support of Connection based billing

Support of Connection based billing is also provided. Connection means one session/logging of a user. For example hourly rate is $3 and connection rate is $1, if user is connected for 30 minutes he/she will be charged $2.5


Lapse Packages

Lapse packages can be defined to restrict users to finish their purchased hours within the specified days. If any user consumes the allotted number of hours before the lapsed date then that account gets locked.


Prepaid/Scratch Cards

In this module prepaid (scratch) cards are generated, activated and sold to Resellers.


Multilevel Marketing/Resellers Management

A hierarchy of personnel can be created by using Data Billing. Multiple agents can be assigned and each agent can further have sub-agents. The main administrator holds complete control and can allow or restrict agents to accessing features as per requirement.


Customer self-care

A complete customer self-care section is provided, where user can login and see his/her usage, invoices, payment history, can change their password and manage their email accounts.


Comprehensive Management Reports

Mass number of reports are provided including cash management and daily transactions report.

User Locking/Unlocking

User accounts can be locked whenever balance drops below credit limit (online termination) and accounts can be automatically unlocked on account recharges.


Low Credit Alert Emails

Low credit email will be sent to users whenever their balance becomes less than the specified amount. Administrator can set the low credit email functionality against the plans.


Online Client Registration & Payments

Clients can be registered through. Clients can also register themselves through Credit Card and checks. At this moment these payment gateways are supported, Authorize.Net, LinkPoint, PaymentsGateway.Net, Bank of America eStores, Verisign and PayPal. If a customer wants to use any other Payment Gateway then let us know so that we can provide it you.


System Administration

Complete system administration is provided to administrators of billing software.


System Security

Two types of access implementation are provided. One is the IP-based and other is username/password.

 

Locations (OR sub offices)

All the data of a particular user can be viewed by the technical support persons. A technical or help desk person can view, user status (locked- unlocked), payment details, check the CLI option, can check the password, can assign new password, can check pin code, can assign new pin code and active session.

All the data of a particular user can be viewed by the technical support persons. A technical or help desk person can view, user status (locked- unlocked), payment details, check the CLI option, can check the password, can assign new password, can check pin code, can assign new pin code and active session.

 

Credit / Debit user account

This feature is provided to assign credit or debit to a user account. Its main use is at the time of assigning free bonuses and also at the time when user changes his/her plan.

 

Flexible Interface

Billing system interface can be changed, all the fonts, background colors, foreground colors can be changed at any time.


Billing Software Logs

Complete logs files are provided so that incase of any error or in abnormal behavior the problem could be figured out.

 

Edited data and Reports

If any billing system administrator updates the record of a user, then its logs are kept so that the security check can be implemented. For example any payment is updated, password or pin code is updated then its data is edited in reports and logs will be maintained to keep of the user who performd the activity.

 

Sales Persons Module

Sales person module is provided and it can also be turned off. Normally ISP's hire sales persons for marketing and to increase their number of users. Also the bonus method of sales person is implemented so that their performance can be evaluated.

 

Customized Reports

Billing system administrators can generate their own customized reports at any time from web.

 

Company Information

Company information can be updated. This information can be used in billing (like printing company information at payment receipt).

 

Configuration File

A configuration file is provided for different options by which the administrators can easily change different options of billig system without our help for example user interface, welcome mail text, warning mail text and database configuration.

 

Customizable Receipts

Interface of receipts is customizable. Also number of receipts which are generated for user is configurable. For example, an ISP can generate two receipts, one for user and other for its own use.

 

Multilingual Support

It allows user to translate the application in multiple languages. This feature endorses user friendliness and resolves the complexity of accessing application significantly.

 

Supported Radius Server

It support all the Radius Servers and Taccacs Servers but preferred are those which do the AAA (authentication, authorization, and accounting) from SQL database, for example.
